Amanat Ali is a young singer from Faisalabad, Pakistan. At the time he performed this song in 2007 he was 19 years of age. In the introduction he says he has been away from home and his family for 5 month and he misses them (stayed in India during the talent spotting competition). His time in India was not altogether without controversy and this may have had some effect when he performed this song. Amanat is a sensitive artiste and this comes across when he performed this song. At the end of the performance he is offered a contract together with two of his friends who also performed at the contest.
Amanat has performed for Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Jagit Singh, Farah Khan and other noteworthy music directors/composers who have highly commended him as a natural gifted singer.
The song Tujshe Naraz describes the sorrow and sadness of a person (the singer) troubled by the suffering and the difficult time their loved one is passing through.
